The National Association of Social Workers in Somalia (NASWIS) is a professional body works with Ministry of Women and Human Rights Development and the only national body representing for the social work development and social well-being, working for the advancement of Social Work in Somalia.

The National Association of Social Workers in Somalia (NASWIS) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the Somalia. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies. The National Association of Social Workers in Somalia was established in October, 2o17, following a careful planning by the by Somali individuals. The attainment of this long-sought objective reflected the growing conviction on the part of social work practitioners that there was need for greater unity within the social work profession, and an organizational structure through which the resources of the profession could be utilized most effectively for the improvement and strengthening of social welfare programs.
